"Will I find my forever person?"

Tarot Advice line: Week 1!

Dear Skye,

I have a broad question regarding love and relationships that I’d appreciate your insight on. As a Virgo, it often feels as though there is someone attracted to me, and I sometimes find myself developing feelings for someone I meet. For example, I met someone in January and, despite not expecting to, I grew fond of him. However, various obstacles or realizations on his end led to the relationship not progressing.

Unfortunately, this pattern has occurred several times, leaving me feeling as though I am unable to pursue the type of relationship I desire.

At present, I’m in a period of burnout in my pursuit of finding my forever partner. Given these experiences, I am wondering if I will find my "forever person" this year. Any guidance or insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated."

Dear C,

Thank you for bravely being the first to write in for this new tarot advice column! Your question is perfect because dating and love can be so challenging to navigate.

First, I wanted to take a look at what is going on and I got the 10 of swords. This card is actually reassuring to see in a reading. Traditionally, it means is that you are at the hardest point in your. journey and from here, it’s only up.

The 10 of swords also says there is something you are neglecting. The way she scrolls on her phone, ignoring all of the swords stabbing her in the side, shows there is something you need to change or address.

The 4 of Pentacles says that what you are ignoring is that these past romantic interests were simply not right for you. This card, combined with your Venus sign being in Scorpio, meaning you love to commit and be loyal in relationships, but can forget to honestly consider how well these people fit into your life.

You have created a really stable and secure life for yourself, and not everyone will fit into it. But this is of course a good thing, as you said yourself, you want the right partner.

Try to trust that these past relationships fizzled out for a good reason. That they simply didn’t fit into the awesome foundations you have built for your life.

For your guidance card, you have the World. The last Major Arcana card, The World reminds you that while you have experienced a lot, but you still have the whole world ahead of you!

But what I really love is that next you have The Fool reversed because it is giving you permission to take a short break from dating and love. This

Spring and early Summer, shake off the burnout. But, get ready to put yourself back out there in middle and end of the Summer!

The Star card reversed shows that late July and August (Leo Season) is the most lucky time for meeting someone. Use early Summer to get into the habit of saying “yes” to social outings that you would normally say “no” to attending. This Summer is not the time to hermit. It is the time to let be visible and put yourself out there!

Thank you for your question and good luck!

-Skye
