A little about my Tarot educational background
I began studying tarot 10 years ago in 2016, so it may be surprising to learn that I have a background in the arts! I graduated from VCU Arts with a Bachelors of Fine Art in illustration and a minor in painting and printmaking.
Because of this, the visual language of tarot has always come naturally to me. I always say that reading tarot is like reading a story in a graphic novel, but it is about you and your life!
My formal training began when I studied at Spiralheart Witch Camp! Yes, it was like Summer Camp, but for adults who want to study all things witchy. For two Summers, I went out in nature and took classes about mythology, tarot, the elements, and more!
These classes gave me the foundations for understanding the elements of tarot.
One morning at witch camp, I pulled 3 tarot cards for myself and suddenly thought "Oh! It's all clicking. I think I can read tarot now!"

My friend nodded and said "That's how it happens!"
I continued to explore and took Astrology courses with the renowned Chani Nicholas, Jason Miller's course on Hekate, Lindsay Mack's course "Tarot for the Wild Soul," and in-person workshops at conventions like Fairy Con!
In-person experience is also invaluable. I have participated in celebrating witchy holidays and Full Moons with various covens in the DC metro area over the past 10 years.

The Arthur Findlay College in Stansted, UK
In 2025, I became interested in mediumship and began studying with the online with the Arthur Findlay College! The school is known as one of the "premier" schools for spiritual development in the world!
In August 2026, I traveled to the UK to study in-person at the college! For a week, I learned mediumship and intuition from amazing teachers, and met talented students from all over the world. By the end, I was surprised by how much I had grown in my mediumship!
I am currently continuing to study and practice mediumship, and my dream is to one day give readings and demonstrations!
Studying at the Arthur Findlay College in 2026
In December 2025, I received a certificate from Harvard X in Omens, Oracles, and Prophecies! It was a really fun course and I hope that the ED X platform adds more courses of spirituality and mythology.
The fun part about tarot is that you are never "done" learning and growing, so I am excited to continue studying for year to come!
Professional Associations
I am proud to be on the leadership team of Emerge Event Collective, a networking group for luxury wedding and event professionals.
In 2025, I had the opportunity to be a Destination DC DEI Small Business Fellow.
